Workshop Description
This masterclass examines power dynamics, perspective, and responsibility in the film industry. Starting from the concept of the male gaze, we will explore alternative visual and narrative approaches and unpack toxic or sexist film tropes that continue to shape our industry.
Looking at current figures on FLINTA representation in filmmaking, the session also addresses working conditions, nervous system awareness on set, and ethical, respectful practices in casting and collaboration with actors.
The goal is to foster greater awareness and a more conscious, and sustainable working environment.
